Hum drum - and loving it!

Since David's illness life has been knocked for six and now a week after his funeral, although the loss is great, little bits of normality are returning. This photo was taken at an event with other Area Dean's and Lay Chairs in the diocese as we were presented with possible ways of working more effectively in our deaneries. The man with the name tag David on his pink jumper is David. He is Lay Chairman in my deanery.
This is Alan Dixon, a friend of mine who invited me to a fundraising event for young people in the North East. It was a great evening at the Holiday Inn with a fine dinner, entertainment and boxing from youth centres in the North. More money is raised in one night than I raised by walking from John o Groats to Land's End.

This man with the Long hair is called Richard and he buys grain from farmers all over the country and sells it for the best price. He also wholesales farming requisites and is too busy for a hair cut!

These are a group of ladies from Crawcrook who were the latest group of people to listen to me prattle on about my walk. Serves them right for inviting me.
