No, I am not holding forth on
life's big question in front of a room full of people.
Prattling on about the walk from John O
Groats to Lands, that's what I was doing. In fact I've done it twice this week, but people do seem to enjoy it. Tonight I am going to see Ross Noble at The City Hall, so I will be looking for tips on how to engage the audience. Today I have cut the grass for the first time this year, it was long, I am aching. I hope I don't fall asleep in the City Hall.

No one fell asleep at
Ponteland, in fact they laughed very
nicely and said all the right things at the end. I spoke for 75 minutes. Sermons are much
shorter. Must go and do some work before I go out.
