Congratulations to John and Leanne on their engagement. My son and his girlfriend of 7 years have finally got engaged which is great news. They make a tremendous couple and seem very happy. I know that John is being harassed by everyone now about when the wedding will be – poor lad. I remember my own proposal to Gill being followed by intense pressure to name the day. I think John thought the pressure would be off for a few years once he had proposed, but he is now discovering woman pressure. My suggestion would be to name the date and be done with it, because any resistance is futile. Here’s to them and their happiness. I will put a picture of them together when I get one.
